LOVERACING.NZ and the Canterbury Jockey Club have announced the return of the Riccarton Park Red Nose Day Races for Cure Kids, taking place on Thursday 24 July 2025 at Riccarton Park Racecourse in Christchurch.

Now in its third year, this special event is part of Cure Kids’ iconic Red Nose Day appeal, raising funds to support innovative research into health conditions affecting children across Aotearoa.

The race day promises a unique blend of thrilling racing, entertainment and fundraising. Highlights include the crowd-favourite “Dino Derby” inflatable race and live and silent auctions, with all proceeds supporting Cure Kids.

“Red Nose Raceday brings together the best of racing and giving back,” says Tim Mills, CEO of the Canterbury Jockey Club. “We’re proud to support Cure Kids and help fund research that makes a real difference in children’s lives.”

Funds raised through Red Nose Day help tackle some of the most serious health challenges facing Kiwi kids - from inflammatory bowel disease to neonatal care and mental health.
